Day 01: Arrive at Kathmandu airport and transfer to the hotel.Briefing about the trip and equipment shopping and hiring in Kathmandu.The guide will check personal equipment.
Day 02: After breakfast half-day Kathmandu sightseeing tour includes Pashupatinath, the Hindutemple, Boudhanath stupa, all by tourist van with local guide.After lunch final preparation for the trip.
Day 03: Entry Zhangmu border and drive to Nyelam (3800m).Overnight at Nyelam Guesthouse.
Day 04: Rest day for acclimatization at Nyelam with an excursion to Milarepa’s Cave. Overnight at Nyelam Guesthouse.
Day 05: Drive from Nyelam to Saga (4580m) via Lalung La Pass, Paiku Tso and cross the Brahmaputra River (known here as the Yarlung Tsangpo). Overnight at Saga Post Guesthouse.
Day 06: Drive from Saga to Paryang (4500m). Overnight at Yak Guesthouse.
Day 07: Drive from Paryang to Manasarovar (4560m). Overnight at Trugo Gompa or Chiu Gompa Guesthouse.
Day 08: Puja/holy dip at the lake followed by Manasarovar Parikrama in Landcruiser. Time permitting, visit Chiu Gompa. Drive to Darchen (4560m). Overnight at Kailash Hotel.
Day 09: Start Kailash Kora/Parikrama from Darchen Pass, the first prostration point; Tarboch Flag Pole, the auspicious gateway and the sky burial ground, to Drirapuk (4765m). Overnight at Guesthouse or Camp from where you have superb views of Mt Kailash.
Day 10: Continue Parikrama over Dolma La Pass (5610m) to Zuthul-Puk (4700m). Just below the Dolma La is the Gauri Kund. Overnight at Guesthouse or camp.
Day 11: Cross third and fourth prostration points, Zuthul-Puk monastery and trek back to near Darchen and drive to Hore (Hor Qu) at 4560m near Lake Manasarovar. Overnight at Guesthouse.
Day 12: Drive to Paryang. Overnight at Yak Guesthouse.
Day 13: Drive to Saga. Overnight at Saga Post Guesthouse.
Day 14: Drive to Nyalam. Overnight at Nyelam Guesthouse.
Day 15: Drive downhill to Friendship Bridge following the gorge of the Bhote Kosi River for the final leg of the journey to Kathmandu.
Day 16: Final Departure, transfer to Tribhuvan International Airport Kathmandu by a representative of Himalayan Alpine Adventure Trek and Expedition Pvt. Ltd.
- Both Kailash Parikrama (on foot) and Manasarovar Parikrama (by jeep or bus).
- Accommodation at Guest House.
- Japanese Land cruisers (4 WD) or luxury bus and support truck.
- Tibetan guide from China Tibet Tourism Board (CTTB).
